An ecommerce brand in the home improvement space was struggling to scale using Standard Shopping campaigns. Previous experiences with Performance Max (PMax) had made the internal team cautious, and their growth had plateaued despite steady investment.


We designed a controlled 50/50 split test, sending half of traffic to Standard Shopping and half to Performance Max.


Performance Max significantly outperformed Standard Shopping during the test:

After seeing the success of the split test, we fully transitioned the standard shopping campaigns to Performance Max. Following the full migration, growth accelerated even further, driving higher revenue and greater efficiency across the board.
